It has been extremely warm in the North of France lately. So I feel the NEED to have cold desserts. I've given up on store bought ice cream. (who likes emulsified soy lecithin fat in their ice cream?). Here's a nice way to enjoy low-fat-cheapy-easy frozen yogurt without an ice cream maker in 5 minutes. It requires no cooking. (and my husband did all the work).
When the stawberrries are on sale why not buy some extra and freeze them. You can use any frozen fruits.
Ingredients:
250 g of frozen stawberries (must be frozen)
2 table spoons of condensed milk (optional)
2 table spoons of sugar (more if you like it sweet)
1 cup of low fat yogurt (or your favorite yogurt)
Put your frozen fruits in the food processor and add all the rest of the ingredients. Blend until it gets homogeneous. If you want the fro-yo to be more firm, let it rest in the freezer for an hour.
Tada! healthy frozen yogurt.
